Jacques Barbera
Chairman of the Board
With a real estate heritage that dates back to the 1960s, Jacques created Bar Invest Group in 2001 as an acquisition/redevelopment business in Florida. In Florida, he built a team that purchased over 150 apartment properties with over 3,500 apartment homes representing more than $1.5 billion in acquisition and redevelopment investment. Today he oversees all aspects of Bar Invest Group’s development, acquisition and management businesses. Prior to founding Bar Invest Group, Jacques was the founder and chairman of Bar Invest France and Bar Invest Argentina.
Herve Barbera
Chief Executive Officer
Herve is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, underwriting, and negotiations of apartment property acquisitions and dispositions. He has been a part of Bar Invest Group’s acquisition program since its inception in 2005 and has been directly involved in the acquisition of the company’s multifamily properties. Herve graduated from the University of Miami, where he earned a BS in finance and business law.
Thierry Barbera
Senior Vice President – Construction
Thierry is responsible for all designs, project coordination, and construction activities at Bar Invest Group, and has been with the company since 2007. Since then, Thierry has been involved in developing garden and high-density urban apartments, mid-rise and high-rise residences, condominiums, and single-family subdivisions.
Laetitia Barbera Jodin
Senior Vice President – Human Resources
As the head of property management, Laetitia is responsible for Bar Invest Group’s multifamily portfolio. She also oversees many of the support services for the property management group including strategic operations, marketing, and training. Laetitia joined Bar Invest Group in 2016 as a local supervisor and has held several key leadership roles at the company. Laetitia received her education at The University of Miami, where she earned a Master’s in Communication and Real Estate Marketing.
Damian Alvarez
Accounting Manager
Damian Alvarez joined Bar Invest Group in November 2013 as Accounting Manager. Prior to joining Bar Invest Group, Damian was an Accountant with Patagonia Holding Group. With Bar Invest Group, Damian manages and oversees the daily operations of the accounting department. He is responsible for property and corporate accounting, corporate internal controls, analysis functions, cash management, audit and tax coordination and oversight of the Accounting Information Systems. Damian received his Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University.
