Jacques Barbera brings a legacy of real estate expertise that spans over six decades. In 2001, he founded Bar Invest Group with a vision to transform the Florida real estate landscape through strategic acquisitions and redevelopment. Under his leadership, the company has successfully acquired and revitalized over 250 multifamily properties, encompassing more than 10,000 apartment homes and representing an impressive investment of over $3.5 billion.
As Chairman of the Board, Jacques oversees all facets of Bar Invest Group’s development, acquisition, and management operations, ensuring continued growth and success across the portfolio. His innovative approach and industry acumen have solidified the company’s reputation as a leader in the multifamily sector.
Prior to establishing Bar Invest Group, Jacques demonstrated his entrepreneurial prowess as the founder and chairman of Bar Invest France and Bar Invest Argentina, expanding his influence and expertise across international markets.
Herve Barbera serves as the driving force behind Bar Invest Group’s success, growth, and strategic direction as Chief Executive Officer. With a sharp focus on sourcing, underwriting, and negotiating multifamily property acquisitions and dispositions, Herve has been instrumental in shaping the company’s impressive portfolio and market presence.
Since the launch of Bar Invest Group’s acquisition program in 2005, Herve has spearheaded transformative initiatives, directly contributing to the company’s expansion and sustained performance. Under his leadership, Bar Invest Group has established itself as a trusted name in the multifamily real estate sector, delivering exceptional value to investors and stakeholders while enhancing the communities it serves.
Herve’s expertise is rooted in his academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Law from the University of Miami. His vision, strategic acumen, and relentless pursuit of excellence are pivotal to the company’s ongoing success and its ambitious plans for the future.
As Senior Vice President of Construction at Bar Invest Group, Thierry Barbera oversees all aspects of design, project coordination, and construction activities. Since joining the company in 2007, Thierry has been instrumental in delivering a wide range of residential projects, including garden-style and high-density urban apartments, mid-rise and high-rise residences, condominiums, and single-family subdivisions.
Thierry’s expertise and hands-on approach ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation, contributing significantly to the success and growth of Bar Invest Group’s development initiatives.
Laetitia Barbera Jodin serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Bar Invest Group, where she leads the company’s multifamily property management operations. In her role, she oversees the strategic operations, marketing, and training initiatives that support the success of the property management group.
Since joining Bar Invest Group in 2016 as a local supervisor, Laetitia has demonstrated exceptional leadership, holding key positions that have significantly contributed to the company’s growth and operational excellence. Her expertise in communication and real estate marketing is rooted in her education at the University of Miami, where she earned a Master’s degree in Communication and Real Estate Marketing.
With a commitment to fostering excellence across teams and properties, Laetitia plays a vital role in enhancing both employee engagement and resident satisfaction.
Damian Alvarez has been an integral part of Bar Invest Group since November 2013, serving as Accounting Manager. With extensive experience in accounting and financial operations, Damian oversees the daily activities of the accounting department, ensuring seamless property and corporate accounting processes.
In his role, Damian is responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate internal controls, managing cash flow, coordinating audits and tax compliance, and analyzing financial performance. He also oversees the company’s Accounting Information Systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial operations.
Prior to joining Bar Invest Group, Damian honed his expertise as an Accountant with Patagonia Holding Group. He holds a Master of Accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University, further underscoring his dedication to excellence in financial management.
